Odaryn Vael
Paladin
Odaryn Vael
Species
Elf
Appearance
Odo is tall and impossibly straight-backed, like a statue that learned to breathe. His mithril full plate is polished to a pale moon sheen, but every seam, tassel, and cloak-edge is bound in deep maroon cloth dyed with sacred ash. His armor is etched with tiny sunbursts that only show when he moves, and the plates softly chime like glass bells when he turns. He has an unexpectedly gentle, almost scholarly face, with a scar across one eyebrow and a habit of smiling as if apologizing for the violence required to do the right thing. When battle comes, his measured stride becomes a gliding rush, but in quiet moments he moves with careful, restrained grace, as though he fears disturbing the air around him.
“Measured, formal, and exact, with the cadence of a vow spoken aloud; he uses the first name only after trust is earned..”
