Raymond Sarrez
Paladin, Oath of Revelry
Raymond Sarrez
Species
Half-Elf
Appearance
Raymond Sarrez is a handsome half-elf with a practiced smile that looks effortless until you notice it is used like armor. His jaw carries a permanent five o'clock shadow, not because he neglects himself, but because he shaves only before funerals and coronations. He wears his full mustache waxed into a confident curve, slightly more dramatic on the right than the left, as if it has opinions of its own. His skin has the warm gold-brown tone of old parchment left in sunlight, and his movements are loose, rhythmic, and deceptively quick, like a duelist who learned footwork from dancers and brawlers both. One of his eyes is clear green, the other is flecked with amber and silver, giving him the contradictory look of a man who is always amused and always judging. He dresses in tailored velvet and travel-worn mail mixed together with obvious care, wearing a formal crimson coat over a practical breastplate polished to a mirror shine. The strangest thing about him is that he carries himself like a man headed to a feast, even when stepping into a battlefield drenched in ash.
“Smooth, resonant, and warmly theatrical, with the cadence of someone who has addressed nobles, soldiers, and drunks with equal success. He laughs often, but when he gets serious every word lands cleanly.”

Distinguishing Features
A mustache shaped like twin curls, always immaculately maintained.
A thin scar across the chin from a broken bottle during a noble masquerade.
An engraved tankard hanging from his belt as if it were a holy relic.
A half-moon birthmark on his left wrist in the shape of a laurel crown.
His laughter comes in a low, surprising baritone that carries farther than expected.
Voice
“Velvet over steel, with a teasing lilt that can become a command in a blink.”
Clothing
A crimson velvet coat lined with silver thread over fitted half-plate, a white silk scarf around the throat, black riding gloves, polished boots, and a sunburst brooch pinned to a sash of festival ribbons collected from many cities.
Body Language
Open-shouldered and expressive, he punctuates speech with half-bows, flourishes of the hand, and quick steps that make him seem perpetually in the middle of a dance. In combat he becomes almost serene, smiling with a frightening stillness just before he strikes.
