Oleg Alktravinko
Ranger
Oleg Alktravinko
Species
Ravenfolk
Appearance
Oleg is a lean, well built ravenfolk with dark purple feathers that shift almost black in shade until the light catches them and reveals a bruised violet sheen. His amber eyes are sharp and bright, set in a narrow face that seems carved more for watchfulness than comfort. He moves with the careful, economical grace of a stable hand who has spent years dodging hooves, but he wears an unexpected silver brooch shaped like a tiny lily, polished to a mirror shine and tucked at the throat of his worn leather coat. His feathers are immaculate along the wings and back, yet the feathers on his left wrist are singed and permanently frayed, as if kissed by old fire.
“Low, precise, and dry, with occasional soft whistles between words when addressing animals. He rarely raises his voice, but when he does it lands like a whip crack.”

The faint smell of cedar oil, oat chaff, and rain on leather

“Measured and husky, with a soft caw at the edges of certain vowels and a tired kindness that appears only when he is speaking to the helpless.”

A soot dark stable coat reinforced with patched leather at the shoulders, soft riding trousers, high boots caked with old road dust, and a utility belt hung with grooming tools, feed measures, and a folded length of rope

Still and compact most of the time, with small precise head tilts and sudden, birdlike freezes when he hears a new sound. His hands hover near reins, buckles, and blade hilts as if the air itself might need managing.
