Appearance
Halcyra is a lithe, luminous woman whose presence feels like stepping into warm weather after years of rain. Her skin seems dusted with gold pollen that shifts when she moves, as if sunrise lives just beneath the surface. One eye is the color of fresh honey, the other a pale, broken silver that reflects hidden things a heartbeat before they are spoken. She moves with a dancer's lightness, but there is an unexpected contradiction in her bearing: she wears a severe black half-mask when she is being kind, and removes it only when she means trouble. Her smile is bright, quick, and a little dangerous, like a spark near dry reeds.
“Clear, musical, and quick, with sudden drops into intimate plainness when she means every word.”
