Lokiar Vael
Demigod Trickster
Lokiar Vael
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Lokiar looks as if he were cut from moonlit smoke and then hastily stitched back together with gold thread. His movements are restless and light, never fully still, like a curtain breathing in a draft. His skin has the cool sheen of rain on slate, but when angered it briefly shows faint constellations beneath the surface. He wears elegant, travel-worn robes layered over practical boots, an unexpected blend of courtly luxury and road dust. One sleeve is always immaculate while the other is perpetually stained with ash, as if he can never decide whether he is a prophet or a runaway. His smile is quick and dangerous, the sort that suggests he is already three turns ahead or three lies deeper.
“Velvet-quiet, precise, and packed with sardonic turns of phrase, as if every sentence is half confession and half trap..”

Distinguishing Features
A crack of pale light runs through his left iris like a split coin.
His shadow sometimes moves a heartbeat late.
He carries a braid of red string around one wrist, knotted with tiny bells that never ring.
His right hand bears ink-black sigils that fade and reappear depending on who is speaking truth.
Voice
“Low, amused, and intimate, with a habit of making every accusation sound like an invitation.”
Clothing
Layered midnight robes with practical stitched hems, a silver-buckled travel belt, fingerless gloves, and a half-cloak lined with star map embroidery that has been repaired so many times the original pattern is almost lost
Body Language
Restless and elegant, he leans on nothing for long, taps two fingers against his wrist when thinking, and tilts his head like he is listening to a distant argument only he can hear.
