Level 20·Male·Medium
Neutral Good

Species

Moon Elf

Appearance

Vaneria is a lithe moon-elf with the elegance of a court dancer and the caution of a caged fox. His skin has the pale sheen of rainwashed silver bark, and under torchlight it seems to hold faint veins of violet like ink trapped beneath glass. He moves with controlled, nearly silent economy, but the contradiction is that he dresses like a celebrated duelist, all tailored velvet, polished buttons, and a ceremonial sash heavy with trophies he absolutely would rather not brag about. His left hand is always gloved, even while sleeping, and his smile arrives a heartbeat late, as if he is deciding whether the world deserves it.

Height6 ft 1 in
BuildLean, whipcord-muscular, and deceptively fragile-looking
EyesOne storm-gray eye and one pale gold eye
HairWhite-blond, worn long and tied with a black ribbon
SkinPale silver with a faint violet undertone

Measured, polished, and quietly sardonic. He rarely raises his voice, but when he does, it feels like a blade being placed carefully on a table.”

Distinguishing Features

A thin white scar that crosses his lips, making every smile look slightly dangerous

One iris is storm-gray and the other is pale gold, the result of an old alchemical injury

His left glove never comes off in public

The faint scent of cedar smoke and rain follows him, even indoors

His fingers bear small nicks from decades of lock work, despite his aristocratic bearing

Voice

Low, velvet-quiet, and precise, with a faint old-city lilt and the habit of making every sentence sound chosen rather than spoken

Clothing

A midnight-blue duelist's coat lined with hidden pockets, fitted leather trousers, soft boots, and a silver-threaded sash marked by old guild cuts. Beneath the coat he wears a black silk vest stitched with tiny pockets for lockpicks, poison vials, and folded messages.

Body Language

Still as drawn wire when observed, then suddenly fluid when he moves. He tilts his head toward speakers like a patient bird, keeps his shoulders slightly turned away from danger, and prefers to stand where reflections can help him read a room.
