Kruka Ironmarrow
Fighter
Kruka Ironmarrow
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Kruka Ironmarrow is a broad-shouldered half-orc elder with soot-darkened skin broken by silver scar lines that look like cracked metal laid over old leather. Her left tusk is chipped clean through, and her right hand trembles only when she is angry, never when she is working. She moves with the careful economy of a seasoned smith, each step measured like she is still counting hammer strikes in her head. Her unexpected contradiction is her clothing: beneath a heavy apron of riveted black hide, she wears a delicate violet scarf embroidered with tiny white lilies, a remnant from a life she refuses to explain. Her expression is often stern, but her eyes are bright, alert, and painfully kind when she thinks no one is watching.
“Low, rough, and deliberate, with a habit of ending serious statements by tapping her knuckles on the nearest solid surface. She rarely wastes words, but when she becomes emotional she starts speaking in warm, elaborate metaphors about iron, weather, and the patience of fire.”

Distinguishing Features
A jagged scar across the throat that shifts when she laughs or growls
A ring of tiny burn scars around both wrists from years at the bellows
A faint iron smell that clings to her even after washing
One tusk capped with a brass ferrule engraved with lilies
A left ear pierced by three mismatched rings made from melted-down coins
Voice
“Gravelly, dry, and unexpectedly gentle when speaking to children or the grieving”
Clothing
A soot-black forge apron over layered wool tunics, thick patched trousers, iron-toed boots, and the faded violet lily scarf she wears despite the heat. Her belt holds tongs, whetstones, chalk, a tiny magnifying lens, and three prayer coins from different faiths.
Body Language
She stands with her weight slightly forward, like a blacksmith waiting for a stubborn nail to admit defeat. When listening, she folds her arms across her chest and tilts her head, tusks bared in what looks like a snarl but is usually concentration. In anger, she becomes very still, her fingers tapping once against her apron rivets before she speaks.
