Theurda Stonequill
Ranger
Theurda Stonequill
Species
Dwarf
Appearance
Theurda is a broad-shouldered dwarf with a weathered face that looks carved from river stone and polished by years of wind. Her beard is kept in two tight braids, each wrapped with tiny brass rings and green thread from old trade contracts. She moves with a careful, economical stride, as if every step is being priced and weighed. Her left hand is ink-stained from ledgers, while her right forearm bears pale scars from trap wire and one deep burn shaped like a coin. The unexpected thing about her is the perfume of cedar blossoms that clings to her cloak, a sweet scent that seems wholly out of place on a hardened frontier merchant.
“Her voice is low, rough, and precise, with a clipped mountain accent and the habit of landing hard on key numbers. She rarely wastes words, but when she does, they tend to be memorable.”

Distinguishing Features
A coin-sized burn scar on her right forearm
Two beard braids bound with brass rings and green thread
Ink-stained fingertips from constant bookkeeping
A cedar-blossom scent that clings to her travel cloak
One eyebrow split by an old knife cut
Voice
“Gravelly, deliberate, and unexpectedly gentle when speaking to children or the wounded”
Clothing
A moss-green travel coat reinforced with dark leather patches, a wool sash full of hidden pockets, heavy boots with nailed soles, and a weatherproof apron of waxed canvas that doubles as a field tarp
Body Language
She stands squarely, shoulders set, with the stillness of a quarrying hammer before the strike. Her gaze flicks from hands to belts to boots, reading travelers like cargo manifests. When pleased, she taps two knuckles against her own sternum as if sealing a contract. When angered, her jaw tightens but her voice becomes gentler, which somehow makes the warning more frightening.
