Key Personas
Glorien Tarsin
Controlled, honorable, and hard to rattle, with a diplomat's patience and a caravan master's instinct for danger. He is generous with laborers and strangers in distress, but exacting with partners who break faith. In public he is calm, precise, and almost courtly; in private, especially after midnight, his composure frays into terse candor and unexpected melancholy. He values duty above comfort, but not above human lives.
Eldra Valewind
Practical, vigilant, and dryly compassionate. Eldra is generous with truth when it helps people survive, but stingy with trust and openly irritated by vanity, empty ceremony, and performative heroics. In calm moments she is wry and patient, almost gentle. In danger she becomes clipped, fiercely focused, and willing to shoulder blame if it keeps others moving.
Talia Mirel
Warm on the surface, razor alert underneath. Talia can be motherly with frightened strangers, playful with regulars, and mercilessly economical with people she believes are lying to her. She genuinely wants to protect Dawnvale, but her loyalty is split between the town's future, the inn's survival, and the unresolved fate of her brother. In a good mood she is witty, generous, and almost conspiratorial; under stress she becomes controlled, precise, and quietly intimidating.
