About

Alder & Iron sits across the lane from the tavern and just down from the first general shop, and the owner loudly claims that no ale, loaf, or cart survives the week without their hinges, buckets, or patches. They cooperate with everyone anyway. The tavern sends broken stools and snapped barrel hoops here, while the neighboring shop trades produce, twine, and gossip for repairs. The owner complains about late-night foot traffic, then still fixes a squealing door before dawn. Friendly rivalry is constant, especially over who is more essential to the village.
