The Warming Hearth Inn
The inn began as a waystation for travelers crossing a muddy trade road between two market towns. Built from fieldstone and dark timber nearly a century ago, it survived winter freezes, bandit seasons, and one infamous spring flood that left the taproom knee-deep in water. Its owners rebuilt it with thicker beams, a bigger hearth, and a reputation for honest prices and clean beds. Over the years, the place became less a roadside stop and more a village heart, where farmers, caravan guards, and wandering adventurers all know they can find a hot meal and a listening ear.
