The Saffron Summit
The lodge began as a waystation for miners, spice caravans, and pilgrims crossing the high pass. Over generations it grew into a dependable refuge where weather, not law, decides who stays overnight. The current keeper turned the old stone hall into a warmer, more lavish stop, drawing travelers with exotic flavors, foreign music, and rare brews carried up from the lowlands and beyond the sea.
