Die Rittertafel
Die Rittertafel began as a roadside shrine built by cheerful veterans, caravan pilgrims, and one unusually blessed brewmaster who claimed Cayden Cailean had guided his keg to safety through a goblin ambush. What started as a humble chapel with a serving hatch became a beloved haven for adventurers, sailors, and mercenaries passing through the region. Over decades, donations from grateful travelers expanded the shrine into a true tavern-temple. Its oak beams were carved with prayer knots, lucky stars, and the names of those who returned from impossible quests. The house still keeps the old promise: no one who enters hungry, thirsty, or honest about needing help is turned away.
