The agial is a long, perfectly balanced baton made from smooth black wood or dark volcanic stone. Its surface is polished like glass, yet never reflects the wielder's face clearly. Hairline crimson fissures pulse beneath the material whenever it is used to inflict pain. The weapon produces no sound when it strikes, but its victim hears a sharp crack inside their own skull. It is a magical weapon, a spellcasting focus for enchantment and transmutation spells, and a psionic focus for abilities that manipulate thoughts, emotions, memories, or the body.
