Brine-Hardened Hide. The panther has resistance to cold and fire damage. If it takes more than 15 bludgeoning damage from a single attack, its AC decreases by 2 until it finishes a long rest or spends 1 hour in salt water.
Mist Camouflage. The panther has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in coastal mist, fog, or dim light.
Pounce. If the panther moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the panther can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.
Multiattack. The panther makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 () piercing damage plus 3 () necrotic damage from salt-induced dehydration.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 () slashing damage.
Salt Spittle (Recharge 5-6). The panther spits a glob of pressurized brine at a creature within 20 feet. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target is blinded until the end of its next turn as the salt burns its eyes.
Thicket Retreat. When a creature the panther can see misses it with a melee attack, the panther can move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
