Appearance
Kaelen looks like a boulder that has survived a thousand rockslides. His skin is the texture of cracked leather and the color of iron ore, deeply etched with lines of worry and war. His most striking feature is a heavy, matted beard that he has failed to trim for months; it is tangled with mountain moss and the occasional bit of dried mud. His movement is heavy and deliberate, accompanied by the constant, rhythmic clanking of his rusted plate armor. Despite his rugged and unwashed appearance, he carries an unexpected item: a pair of delicate, silver-rimmed spectacles which he cleans meticulously with a fragment of fine blue silk, his only surviving luxury from the Lowland Marches.
