Appearance
Illuminara Forgeheart is a tall, statue-straight outsider with the composed gravity of a cathedral bell and the restless heat of a foundry. Her skin looks like hammered copper beneath a thin veil of ash, warm enough that breath clouds near her in cold air. Fine seams of gold light thread across her wrists, throat, and collarbones like repaired cracks in a revered relic. Her hair falls in heavy braids of dark iron-gray, but the braid tips smolder as if they were dipped in coals. She wears a formal mantle of soot-dark velvet over a forge-apron of pale, immaculate silk, an unexpected contrast that makes her look both sacred and absurdly overprepared. She moves with measured, smith-like economy until emotion breaks through, and then she becomes all sparks and sudden pivots.
