Ysolde Kisarra
Wizard
Ysolde Kisarra
Species
Albino Kitsune
Appearance
A small albino kitsune with a startlingly elegant presence, Ysolde looks more like a moonlit statue that learned to breathe than a living traveler. She stands only 1.50 meters tall, yet her nine tails are longer than her own body and spill around her like a drifting white comet, each one thick, plush, and impossibly soft-looking at the tips while the roots are sleek and well-kept. Her fur is pearl white with a faint winter sheen, and along her ears, cheeks, and forearms the hair grows long and silky, almost featherlike, as if brushed by frost. Her face is delicate and beautiful in an almost unfair way, but one of her front teeth is slightly chipped, which makes her smile feel unexpectedly real. She wears a Theros-inspired robe of layered ivory and deep sea-blue cloth, stitched with gold thread in geometric motifs that catch the light when she moves. She carries a wooden staff of Theros wood, polished smooth by years of use, though it is carved with tiny constellations and fox faces that make it look more ceremonial than practical until it crackles with magic. She moves with a dancer's poise and a hunter's stillness, but when startled her tails puff out in a ridiculous, expressive halo that contradicts her otherwise composed elegance.
“Soft, precise, and musical, with formal diction that breaks into teasing warmth when she feels safe. She often refers to magical things as if they are living guests, and she tends to speak in images of moonlight, mirrors, ink, and lanterns.”
