General Nadir Bakar
Fighter
General Nadir Bakar
Species
Yotunn
Appearance
General Nadir Bakar is a towering Yotunn with the polished look of a palace heir who has dressed for war as if it were an opera. His broad shoulders are wrapped in lacquered imperial blue plate chased with gold filigree, but the armor is dented, over-burnished, and worn like a treasured heirloom rather than practical gear. His skin has the pale, weathered tone of old river stone, marked by small frost scars and the pink seams of old burns. One eye is milk-clouded from a battlefield injury, while the other is sharp, bright, and constantly amused. He carries himself with a jovial swagger, strutting more than walking, and laughs with his head thrown back even in the aftermath of slaughter. The contradiction that makes him unforgettable is his absurdly elegant silk cravat, always immaculate, tucked beneath a gorget splattered with dried blood he never quite notices.
“Rich, booming, and polished with courtly arrogance, often turning awful truths into jokes. He speaks as if every battle is a banquet and every defeat a minor misunderstanding.”

Distinguishing Features
A milky blind left eye with a gold rimmed scar across the brow
A ceremonial sword hilt engraved with tiny parade scenes of victories that never happened
A campaign notebook filled with absurdly optimistic diagrams and victory sketches
A laugh that sounds warm and genuine even when he is condemning someone to death
Voice
“A booming, affluent baritone with a laugh that lands before the insult does”
Clothing
Layered imperial officer regalia over practical war gear, including a blue velvet sash, gold epaulettes, high black riding boots, and a gaudy parade cloak lined with fox fur that he wears even in summer campaigns
Body Language
He stands too straight for comfort, chest out, chin high, and claps subordinates on the shoulder with enough force to bruise. When pleased, he rocks on his heels like a delighted theatre patron. When angered, the smile stays fixed while his fingers tap the pommel of his sword in a slow, deliberate rhythm.
