Nithaan Vaeloryn
Bard
Nithaan Vaeloryn
Species
High Elf
Appearance
Nithaan Vaeloryn is a slender high elf with the polished, deliberate grace of someone who learned early that every room is a stage. His skin has the pale sheen of rain-washed birch bark, marked at the collarbones and wrists by faint silver scar lines that look almost like musical notation. His hair is deep midnight blue, worn in long braids threaded with thin glass beads that chime softly when he turns his head. One eye is a warm amber gold, the other a pale storm-gray, giving him an unsettlingly mismatched gaze. He moves with dancer's precision, but his left hand occasionally trembles with a contradictory, almost old-man weariness. He often smiles while looking heartbreakingly tired, as if he is both performer and witness to some private tragedy.
“Soft, precise, and musical, with a habit of landing emphasis on the last word of a sentence as if it were a note held a beat too long..”

Distinguishing Features
Mismatched amber and storm-gray eyes
Silver scar lines across the collarbones and wrists
Glass beads woven into his braids that ring like tiny bells
A faint halo of resonance around his voice when he sings
A patched boot that clashes with his otherwise regal attire
Voice
“Velvety and resonant, with a singer's control and a scholar's restraint, like a lullaby delivered at the edge of a knife.”
Clothing
He wears layered teal and charcoal robes cut like a traveling costume, reinforced beneath with hidden leather panels. The hems are embroidered with silver thread in patterns that resemble waves, constellations, and torn sheet music. A practical travel cloak is clipped with a polished bone brooch, and despite the elegance of his outfit, he keeps one boot visibly patched with rough sailor's cord.
Body Language
He stands with his shoulders open and his chin slightly raised, like a conductor preparing an orchestra. When listening, he tilts one ear toward the speaker and taps two fingers against his sleeve in precise rhythms. In anger, he becomes very still rather than explosive, and his stillness feels more dangerous than any shout.
