Nithaan Aelthrys
Bard
Nithaan Aelthrys
Species
Sea Elf
Appearance
Nithaan Aelthrys is a lithe sea elf with the elegant composure of a court musician and the salt-worn hands of a deck sailor. Her skin is the muted blue-green of deep lagoon water, patterned with faint silver freckles that catch the light like scales, while her long seaweed-black hair drifts even in still air as if it remembers currents no one else can feel. She moves with a dancer's balance, but there is a sailor's economy in every step, as though she is always measuring a deck beneath her feet. Her most memorable contradiction is her voice, which is velvety and warm in conversation, yet turns startlingly harsh and crackling when she sings battle notes. One eye is clear aqua, the other clouded milky white from an old magical burn, though she sees perfectly through both.
“Measured, lyrical, and precise, with soft maritime metaphors that become sharply literal when she is annoyed. She uses long pauses as if they are part of the conversation itself.”

Distinguishing Features
A milky scar across one eye that glows faintly when she casts divination magic
A silver-throat pendant containing a sliver of coral from her destroyed home stage
Long fingers stained with ink, salt, and stage dye in impossible layers
Tiny ritual bells braided into her hair that sound like distant ship masts in wind
A faint scent of brine and smoked cedar that lingers around her clothing
Voice
“Velvet and resonant, like a lullaby sung through distant surf, with a second edge that appears whenever she becomes protective or furious.”
Clothing
A layered robe of sea-green silk and storm-gray velvet over fitted travel leathers, embroidered with pearl thread, shell clasps, and hidden pockets for spell components. She wears one heavy shoulder mantle of barnacle-white feathers that looks ceremonial until it is revealed to be reinforced for impact and rain.
Body Language
Controlled and graceful, with small deliberate gestures, an angled posture that suggests she is always standing on a shifting deck, and a habit of tilting her head as if listening to distant surf.
