Appearance

Vael-Khar appears as a towering, four-armed god of disciplined violence, his body lean rather than bulky, every movement precise and economical like a master blade being drawn from silk. His skin resembles midnight basalt dusted with tiny points of silver light, as though a night sky were trapped beneath living stone. One of his four hands is wrapped in funerary linen while the others are bare and scarred, each palm marked with concentric starburst calluses from aeons of combat. His hair is a long sheet of pale white-gold, but one braid is braided with black prayer cords and tiny enemy teeth. He wears no proper armor, only a monk's sash of layered comet-blue fabric, a belt of meteor iron rings, and prayer beads made from hollowed meteorites that click softly like distant hail. Despite his divine scale and terrifying presence, he keeps one knee patched in plain roughspun cloth, a humble mend from a mortal temple that he never removed.

Distinguishing Features

Four arms ending in scarred, star-bright palms

A vertical burn mark across his sternum that glows during combat

Prayer beads made from meteorite and bone

A patched knee on otherwise divine robes

Eyes that reflect constellations that no current sky contains

Voice

A deep, temple-clear baritone with a faint echo as if spoken through a cathedral dome

Clothing

Layered comet-blue monk robes, meteor-iron prayer beads, a silver sash, patched knees, and bare bracerless forearms

Body Language

He stands with a still, vertical poise that never looks relaxed, yet all four arms move in constant elegant asymmetry, like a four-part ritual. When irritated, two hands clasp behind his back while the others flex as if already striking. When pleased, he tilts his head and taps prayer beads against his forearm in a rhythm no one else can hear.
