Sahesh Adeyemi
Stormwarden Councilor
Sahesh Adeyemi
Species
Human
Appearance
Sahesh is a weather-browned human woman with a long, narrow face, broad cheekbones, and hands roughened by rope, salt, and years of tower maintenance. Her movements are economical and deliberate, as though every gesture has been measured against wind resistance. She walks with a slight limp from an old lightning injury, yet climbs ladders with startling speed. Her skin is bronze-brown and perpetually freckled with pale salt marks. Her hair is tightly braided close to the scalp on one side and left in a heavy, damp-looking braid on the other. The contradictory impression she leaves is of someone both fragile and immovable, like a reed growing through an iron ring.
“Low, dry, and breathy, with sibilants that become almost a whisper when she is angry. Her accent carries faint coastal Yoruba and Levantine rhythms without belonging clearly to either tradition.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin branching scar runs from her left jaw to the collarbone, faintly luminous during thunderstorms.
Her right thumb has been permanently stained blue-gray by contact with the weathervane's inner mechanism.
One front tooth is capped with a tiny piece of green sea glass.
She wears her dead mentor's copper key around her neck, though it opens no surviving lock.
Voice
“A husky contralto, worn thin by sleepless nights. She can project across a harbor without shouting, and her rare laughter sounds like a loose chain striking a mast.”
Clothing
A dark teal oilskin coat reinforced with stitched sailcloth, a copper-plated shoulder guard bearing the Stormwarden spiral, knee-high salt-stained boots, fingerless gloves, and a red sash used as an emergency signal flag. Beneath the coat she wears a faded cream tunic embroidered with tiny wave marks by her late mentor.
Body Language
Sahesh keeps her shoulders squared despite fatigue and rests one thumb against the brass ring on her stormhook when considering a threat. She rarely makes broad gestures. When angered, she becomes perfectly still, with only the loose end of her braid moving in the wind.
