Pello Bramblewick
Scout
Pello Bramblewick
Species
Halfling
Appearance
A soot-smudged halfling boy with quick, birdlike movements and an expression that seems forever one breath ahead of trouble. His hair is a thick tumble of copper curls hacked unevenly by his own hand, but one side is carefully braided with river glass beads and a little brass bell that never seems to ring when it should. He wears patched travel clothes layered under an oversized field coat that once belonged to his mother, making him look both tiny and oddly ceremonial. His hands are ink-stained, his sleeves are always rolled too high, and he carries himself with the serious concentration of a much older messenger. The unexpected thing about him is that he smells faintly of chamomile and fresh bread even after a day in the mud.
“Quick, hushed, and practical, with occasional bursts of dry humor and the habit of ending important sentences with, "Right then?".”
