Appearance
Sava Tenclaw moves like a person always listening for a second conversation beneath the first. She is a lean, dusk-furred shifter with a narrow muzzle, fine silver guard hairs along her forearms, and hands that are permanently stained with oil, resin, and violet ink. Her coat is unusually neat for a shopkeeper, brushed flat except where singed at the cuffs from too many experiments. A contradiction catches the eye immediately: her expression is often severe and fox-bright, yet she wears a childlike copper charm shaped like a moonbeam at her throat and keeps her shop arranged with almost tender delicacy. When she shifts, the fur at her temples brightens to pale moon-gray and the claws on her fingers darken like polished obsidian.
“Low, precise, and gently amused, with the clipped cadence of caravan routes and workshop instructions. She tends to speak in careful bargains, practical metaphors, and unexpected tenderness when discussing repairs, as if every broken thing deserves a second chance.”

Distinguishing Features
A crescent-shaped scar that runs through her left eyebrow and disappears into her fur
A mechanical left bracer with rotating filigree plates and hidden tool needles
Silver-white whiskers near her jaw that remain white even when she shifts
A necklace charm made from a cracked moonstone and a tiny wagon wheel
Ink marks on the inside of her wrists from cataloguing relics by hand
Voice
“Velvet-rough and calm, with a faint rasp when she is tired or angry. In laughter, the sternness drops away and she sounds younger than her years.”
Clothing
Layered charcoal traveling coat with hidden pockets, copper-buckled harnesses, fingerless gloves lined in soft felt, a high-collared vest stitched with tiny silver moons, and sturdy boots reinforced for climbing and rooftop work
Body Language
She stands slightly angled, never fully exposing her back, with one shoulder always nearer to an escape route. Her ears and eyes track movement in separate directions, and her tail flicks once before every decision. In conversation she punctuates important points by tapping a fingernail against brass, like a metronome for honesty.
