Cael Vorn
Bard
Cael Vorn
Species
Half-Elf
Appearance
Tall and reed-thin, with a sailor's stoop and the careful, measured gait of a man who has spent years walking decks in storm winds. His hands are ink-stained, scarred at the knuckles, and surprisingly delicate, as if built for ledger work or harp strings. He wears a patched blue-green coat lined with faded silver thread, but his cuffs are polished to a courtier's shine. A brass hearing trumpet hangs at his belt, though he uses it more like a conductor's baton than a device. He gives the impression of someone half one thing and half another, a scholar wearing the bones of a dockworker.
“Soft and precise, with a harbor lilt and the habit of turning accusations into questions. He rarely raises his voice, but when he does, it cuts like a bell through fog.”

Distinguishing Features
A half-melted brass earring shaped like a lantern.
A pale burn scar across the left side of his neck.
Ink-black fingertips from constant ledger work.
A hearing trumpet engraved with tiny waves and names he never explains.
One eye slightly cloudy from smoke exposure, though he sees perfectly well enough to notice lies.
Voice
“Low, steady, and a little smoky, with a habit of softening at the end of each sentence like a lullaby trying not to sound like one.”
Clothing
A weatherproof teal coat, slate trousers, high black boots, a red scarf worn like a badge of office, and a vest whose inner pockets are crammed with papers, chalk, and folded songs
Body Language
Controlled and deliberate, with small precise gestures. When irritated, his fingers drum silently on his thigh as though counting invisible measures.
