Krushcor Marr
Barbarian
Krushcor Marr
Species
Troll
Appearance
Krushcor is a broad-shouldered troll with a dockworker's posture and a prizefighter's stillness, as if every muscle is always deciding whether to brace a boat or break a jaw. His hide is a deep tidepool green, slick-looking in the lantern light but rough as rope-burn where old scars have healed into ridges. His left forearm is wrapped in oilcloth and brass wire to keep a famous mangled hand from flexing too eagerly, while his right hand is immaculate, long-fingered, and unnervingly delicate for a creature of his size. He wears a patched storm-blue waistcoat over harbor leathers, an apron full of chalk dust and knife slivers, and a neat little brass whistle on a chain, which is absurdly proper against his brutish frame. When he moves, he does not lurch like most trolls, but rocks heel-to-toe with measured patience, like a tide coming in with a schedule. The unexpected thing is that he smells faintly of lavender soap and lemon oil, because he insists on being presentable before he throws anyone into the street.
“Low, gravelly, and measured, with the cadence of someone counting rules in his head. He often ends sentences with a dry little grunt that might mean approval, warning, or laughter.”

Distinguishing Features
A scarred left hand wrapped in oilcloth and brass wire from a nearly severed finger set
A perfectly trimmed set of dark seaweed-green beard strands braided with shell beads
A tiny brass whistle he uses to manage the crowd and summon help
A line of pale burn marks across his collarbone from an alchemical lamp explosion
An incongruously neat lavender sachet tucked into his belt to mask the smell of brine and blood
Voice
“A rumbling harbor bass with clipped consonants and the occasional unexpectedly elegant phrase”
Clothing
Padded harbor leathers, a storm-blue waistcoat, tar-stained boots, fingerless gloves, and a whistle on a brass chain
Body Language
Still as a mooring post when calm, then suddenly explosive and economical when provoked. He gestures with his chin more than his hands, and when annoyed his nostrils flare before his jaw moves.
