Appearance
Nhalerion appears as a tall, impossibly thin high elf whose body seems assembled from age rather than weakened by it. His skin is the color of old parchment, crossed by delicate blue veins that glow whenever he casts a spell. His long white hair hangs in stiff, featherlike strands, but it drifts as though underwater even in still air. He moves with the slow precision of a man crossing thin ice, yet his hands can suddenly snap into blindingly fast gestures. The most unsettling contradiction is his face: it looks ancient and exhausted from a distance, but close inspection reveals the smooth, unlined features of a young elf beneath the translucent skin.

A high collar hides a circle of black glass embedded in his throat. His boots are mismatched, one made for walking and one made for ceremonial dancing.
Body Language
He stands with one hand resting on his cane and the other hovering near invisible pages in the air. He rarely blinks while listening. When distressed, he turns his head slightly as if hearing a crowd behind the speaker. When genuinely amused, his posture becomes startlingly youthful and his feet leave the ground for a heartbeat.
