Azgrund Ferromir
Sorcerer
Azgrund Ferromir
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Azgrund is a lean tiefling with the look of a man who has spent more of his life underground than under open sky. His skin is a deep ember-red with faint charcoal undertones, and fine silver freckles sweep across his cheekbones like ore dust caught in lamplight. His horns arc backward in short, rugged spirals, chipped at the tips from old tunnel work, and his tail moves with the restrained precision of a surveyor's plumb line. He wears a strange contradiction of comfort and menace: a soot-dark miner's coat lined with velvet crimson, polished boots that never seem to collect dust, and a belt hung with neat rows of iron coins, each stamped with tiny rune marks. When he walks, it is with a miner's careful balance and a predator's stillness, as if the ground itself has agreed not to surprise him.
“Low, precise, and calm, with a miner's practical cadence and occasional old tunnel slang. He sounds like a man who has learned that panic wastes air.”

Distinguishing Features
A scar across his left palm shaped like a broken hammerhead.
Tiny iron filings that cling around his cuffs and collar no matter how often he brushes them away.
A single gold tooth in a mouth otherwise filled with dark, practical-looking teeth.
Horns chipped from years in low tunnels.
A faint hum that can be heard near him when his magic is active.
Voice
“Quiet, grainy, and deliberate, with a faint rasp like stone rubbing stone and an undercurrent of dry wit.”
Clothing
A soot-black miner's longcoat reinforced with hidden silver-thread seams, fitted gloves with exposed fingertips, heavy but quiet boots, and a sash of coin-pouches and small iron tags
Body Language
Controlled and economical, with small exact gestures. He rarely wastes motion, and when he is focused his head tilts as if listening to a distant vibration in the stone.
