The Emberclock Vault

You enter a circular bank vault lined with dark walnut panels and brass supports shaped like curling vines. In the center stands a massive vault door, its three concentric lock wheels turning with a patient tick-tick-tick. A ruby-red lens above the mechanism pulses like a tiny captured coal, while warm air leaks from the seams and carries the scent of oil, dust, and old cedar. Six symbols decorate each wheel: a flame, an owl, a gear, a key, a bell, and a clock. Somewhere inside the door, a spring winds tighter with every movement.
