The entire building tilts three degrees to the port side, and every six hours the floor floods with four inches of murky harbor water during high tide.

The Sinking Junk serves as the unofficial embassy for the Red Lantern District, where the laws of the Shuinia Empire are ignored in favor of the laws of profit. It is the primary gateway for Dur-Var Swamp products to enter the city.
