The Thirsty Boar
The Thirsty Boar was founded fifteen years ago by Harl and Mera Voss, a retired town guard and his practical-minded wife. They built the tavern at the edge of town to serve patrols, drovers, teamsters, and laborers who did not want to pay the higher prices found in the town center. Harl was known for watering down neither his ale nor his stories, while Mera kept the kitchen running with stern efficiency. Their bodies now lie behind the bar, killed shortly before the party's arrival. The murder was likely committed by the three bandits hiding in the cellar, though the scene has not yet been carefully investigated.
