The Imperial Archive of Anasesath
A monolithic structure of white marble and obsidian built into the side of a coastal cliff. While the exterior reflects the elegant, soaring spires of the original High Elven architects, the interior has been repurposed by the Szithan Empire. Massive tapestries depicting the Drow deity Tridurth hang from the ceiling, and the scent of damp earth and moss permeates the air. Thousands of shelves stretch upward into the shadows, accessible by floating disks and spiraling ladders.

The Imperial Archive of Anasesath
Quietly oppressive and deeply reverent. The silence is not peaceful but heavy, enforced by the watchful eyes of Drow guards. The atmosphere shifts from the primal, earthy scent of the public halls to a cold, starlit clarity in the deeper, restricted levels where the High Elf custodians work.

History
The Revisionist Stacks
The largest portion of the library, containing millions of documents that have been altered. Magic is used to detect any discrepancies between new texts and old, and any person found with an 'unrefined' version of history is subject to immediate imprisonment. The history here teaches that the Drow rose from the soil as the first children of Tridurth.
The Vault of Primal Rites
A restricted area where the Szithan Druids store their most powerful shamanic scrolls. These rituals focus on the 'Harvest of Souls' and 'Land-Bonding,' which allow the Empire to magically tether the conquered territories to the will of the Drow clans, preventing the land itself from rebelling.
The Celestial Ossuary
Located in the secret High Elf levels, this is a hidden sanctuary dedicated to the Elder Spirits. It houses the physical remains of the High Elven astronomers and the star-charts that the Drow have tried to destroy. The High Elves perform the Rites of Preservation here in total secret, using star-ancestry magic to keep the true memories of Arlyurl alive.

An ancient High Elf with ink-stained fingers and a perpetually bowed head. He secretly maintains the Elder Spirit traditions and guards the entrance to the lower vaults.
A Drow warrior specialized in silencing dissent. She carries a whip made of enchanted briars and oversees the guard drakes that patrol the stacks.
Rumors & Plot Hooks
- 1.It is said that one out of every ten books in the public collection contains a hidden curse that blinds those who doubt the written words.
- 2.The High Elf workers are supposedly communicating through the arrangement of books on the shelves, passing messages about a rebellion.
- 3.Somewhere in the depths, a single book remains that was written by the race the Szithan Empire wiped out during their first expansion.
Classified Entry
Deep beneath the ritual chambers lies the Vault of the Unbound Song. It contains the original census records and bloodline charts of the Aethel-Elves, a race completely erased from official history. These documents prove that the Szithan Drow were not the original rulers but were actually invited guests who staged a bloody coup against their hosts.
