The temple is comprised of three tiered courtyards connected by wide, mossy stairs. History
Sacred Relics
The temple houses the 'Vessel of the First Rain', a cracked ceramic urn said to be able to summon a localized storm once per year. There is also the 'Ever-Damp Shroud', a piece of cloth that remains freezing cold regardless of the ambient temperature, used to break the fevers of the dying.
Divine Services
For a donation of 50 gold pieces, the Matriarch offers the 'Rite of the Still Mind', which grants the benefits of a Lesser Restoration and protection against being charmed for 24 hours. The temple also offers communal housing in the drafty outer cloister for a few copper a night.
Pilgrimage Tolls
Visitors are expected to bring a smooth stone from their place of birth to add to the 'Mound of Origins' near the entrance. Those who fail to bring a stone are often tasked with scrubbing the lichen from the inner sanctum stairs as a form of penance.
