Security and Hazards
The watchtower is protected by two Guardian Sentries, which are modified helmed horrors that patrol the bridge and entrance hall. Within the library, the shelves are protected by 'Silent Runes' that cast a localized Silence spell if voices rise above a whisper. The main staircase is trapped with a Weightless Glyph that can be activated by the Warden to trap intruders in a zero-gravity field until the city guard arrives.
The Vault of Tides
Located beneath the sea level in a reinforced chamber, this vault houses the most sensitive naval records and enchanted navigational maps. The air is cold and the walls are reinforced with oxidized copper to prevent teleportation magic from penetrating the room. It is here that the rare enchanted scrolls are kept, locked behind a puzzle-door that requires three specific resonant frequencies to open.
Apprentice Laboratories
The third floor is dedicated to active experimentation. Due to the proximity to the coast, these labs often focus on hydro-mancy and storm-channeling. Visitors can find various 'Bottled Gales' and unstable 'Ooze-Catalysts' bubbling in reinforced glass tubes. It is a high-risk area where the scent of burnt hair and elemental sulfur is common.
