Manor Security
The house is guarded by four Veterans at all times. During the night, the first floor windows are warded with Glyphs of Warding that trigger an audible alarm if opened by anyone not carrying a Vane family signet ring.
The Vaulted Library
The library contains over two thousand volumes. A hidden lever inside a hollowed out copy of Common Law opens a passage to a small balcony overlooking the garden, intended for discreet escapes or private meetings.

In the upper gallery, several display cases hold curiosities from across the continent, including a petrified basilisk eye and a map of the Shadowfell etched onto a human rib bone.
