The Skyward Gambit pitches as it enters a black wall of cloud, and three pirate ramps slam against the rail. Deckhands rush across the crates while sharpshooters fire from the helm platform. Above the storm, Captain Marla draws her blade and points toward the damaged lift-sails: “Hold them here. I want that sigil.”

The outer rail overlooks turbulent cloud currents; ropes and torn sailcloth hang within reach.
Terrain Levers
- Cut a boarding-ramp rope to drop the ramp and strand or throw off boarders.
- Spend an action securing a dangling rope or damaged lift-sail, preventing the next pitch complication.
- Shove a foe into a waist-high railing, dangling rope, or open cloudside gap.
- Release cargo crates from their lashings to create half cover and difficult terrain.
- Use the raised helm platform to gain high ground over the deck.
