Cinder-Glass Shield

A circular shield crafted from a thick slab of obsidian-like volcanic glass, held within a frame of soot-stained brass. The glass contains swirling patterns of glowing orange light that resemble moving magma, and the surface is always uncomfortably warm to the touch. Small, harmless sparks occasionally jump from the rim of the shield, smelling faintly of cedar and sulfur.
