This magnificent polearm consists of a seven-foot shaft of ivory-colored wood capped with a sweeping, single-edged blade forged from sun-flecked gold and star-tempered steel. The metal ripples with a constant internal warmth, and the pommel is set with a fist-sized amber gemstone that contains a flickering, eternal flame. When the blade is drawn, it sheds a golden luminescence that mirrors the first rays of a summer sunrise.
