Magical Messenger Book

This palm-sized book is bound in dark cracked hide over stiff boards, with a clasp shaped like two interlocked hands. Its pages are thin as onion skin and faintly silvered, as if each leaf had once been a mirror. When opened, the margins shimmer with tiny floating glyphs, and any message written within it settles into the page like ink sinking into water. A faint smell of incense, dust, and cold stone clings to it. The recipient's name appears in ghostly script along the top margin whenever the book is used, then fades after the message is delivered.
