The Scepter of the Rising Dough

This six foot staff is carved from polished ironwood and shaped like a ceremonial rolling pin. Its core is a hollow glass cylinder filled with a swirling, golden sourdough starter that perpetually bubbles and emits a soft, amber glow. The brass caps at either end are magically heated, keeping the staff warm to the touch. It smells intensely of toasted grains and wild yeast.
