This Benelli Supernova is a masterwork of impossible smithing, constructed from seamless, pitch-black weapons-grade obsidian. The surface is polished to a mirror finish, reflecting a distorted version of the Shadowfell. Magma-like veins of glowing orange light pulse through the receiver and barrel with every heartbeat of the wielder. The pump handle is wrapped in the hide of an ancient red dragon, and the iron sights are carved from diamonds. When the action is cycled, it produces a sound like grinding tectonic plates rather than mechanical steel.
