Star Eye

This artifact appears as a 3-inch sphere of midnight-black obsidian, intricately carved into an interlocking Celtic knot pattern. Through the gaps in the stone, a miniature, swirling cosmos is visible, behaving as if the object contains a captured fragment of the night sky. The tiny stars inside pulse with a soft, rhythmic light, and a faint, cold mist seems to emanate from the core of the artifact. It can be held in the hand or magically integrated into the head of a druidic staff or wooden rod.
