The Grand Levain Staff

This six foot staff is carved from ancient, petrified grain wood and shaped like an exceptionally long rolling pin. Its surface is smooth and polished, etched with glowing golden runes that depict the lifecycle of wheat from seed to loaf. The handles at either end are capped with polished brass, and the staff permanently emits the warm, comforting aroma of freshly baked sourdough bread.
