Gyroscopic Heart-Seeker

This device is a complex lattice of brass rings and silver clockwork gears housed within a glass sphere. Inside the sphere, a flickering blue spark of 'captured lightning' serves as the needle, hums with a high-pitched frequency, and pulses when held near the heart. It is worn on a heavy copper chain.
