The Weaver's Shadow-Knot

A small, palm-sized braid of what looks like solidified smoke, bound together by a single strand of silver silk. It is freezing to the touch and seems to drink in any direct light that hits it, casting a permanent, dim silhouette onto the palm of whoever carries it.
