The God King's Shattered Crown

This circlet is crafted from celestial gold that has been violently fractured into seven jagged pieces. Rather than falling apart, the shards float in a fixed, crown-like orbit around the wearer's head, connected by pulsing veins of liquid starlight. A massive, empty socket at the brow leaks a constant mist of gold vapor, and the air around the crown hums with the distant sound of a thousand kneeling subjects.
