Horizon Longbow
This longbow is carved from pale ashwood polished smooth as sun-bleached bone. Its string gives off a faint, low hum whenever the wind rises, as if the bow is listening to distant weather. Along the riser runs a continuous desert horizon line, etched in a single unbroken sweep of dunes, mesas, and wavering heat mirage. The grip is wrapped in faded green hide stitched with thorny vine thread, and the limbs carry a whisper of dry leaves and rainless storms.
