The Skittering Emerald

At first glance, this appears to be a common, rough-cut emerald. However, upon closer inspection, the facets of the gem seem to shift like the chitinous plates of an insect, and a series of dark, leg-like inclusions deep within the stone appear to twitch when viewed from the corner of one's eye.
