Sibilant Edge of the Great Ascendant

This rapier features a blade forged from a singular, needle-thin shard of iridescent malachite that pulses with a sickly green light. The hilt is carved from the fossilized rib of an ancient Anathema, shaped like six intertwined cobras whose hood-flaps form the crossguard. A large, slitted emerald is set into the pommel, appearing to track movement in the room even when the wielder is still. The blade emits a faint, constant hiss whenever it is drawn from its serpent-skin scabbard.
